3.12 Detectors
3.12.1 Installation locations
All microscope variants of the HYPERION series have two detector compartments. In
the left compartment, there is the standard MCT detector (single-element detector) cov-
ering a spectral range from 12,000 - 600 cm
-1
. Optionally, the right compartment can be
equipped with an second detector.
