Option Description
Fixed concentration. If the concentration of certain
elements is known, it is possible to use this
information for the quantification. The concentration
can be written into the box. These elements are
displayed with a green background and
concentration is shown in the special property of the
element.
This function is helpful in case of known
concentrations of elements that cannot be
measured, as carbon.
Deconvolution only. If an element is not in the
sample but in the spectrum and overlaps other
peaks, it should be deconvoluted but not used for
quantification. These elements are displayed with a
blue background and are correspondingly marked
in the special property of the element.
This function can be used for peaks that do not
come from the sample but are generated by the
spectrometer.
Quantify by difference. If an element should be
quantified by difference, it can be selected. These
elements are displayed with a red background and
are correspondingly marked in the special property
of the element.
This function can be used if an element has a high
concentration and this should be determined with
high accuracy. Then it can be advantageous to
quantify by difference.
Quant correction factor. If a higher quantification
accuracy is required, the type calibration routine
allows to set correction factor values for every
element. ZnO was corrected with the factor 1.5.
Load and save methods
Use the method for the actual quantification or
cancel all current settings
