6.4.3.3 Quantification procedure
The standardless quantification always follows the procedure:
Element (Peak) identification and
Result calculation and display.
The quantification has to be started with the button. The quantification of a spectrum
analysis is executed without any user interaction if the automatic mode (“A”) is selected or
includes interactive steps if the interactive mode (“i”) is chosen.
When started with the button, the analysis procedure always refers to the spectrum (or
spectra) currently highlighted in the spectrum list (foreground spectrum in the display), regardless
if this is loaded from file, acquired but not stored, or even currently under acquisition.
In case of automatic quantification the results will be displayed immediately in the result table and
below the spectrum display, too.
In case of an interactive quantification it is possible to influence the quantification procedure. In
this case, the interactive procedure stops at the following dialog:
