Attach Breakout Box (HD-42682) to ECM. Mea-
sure resistance between ECM and coil terminals
as follows:
Resistance should be less than 0.5 ohms. Is it?

With the engine off, Scanalyzer (Active Diagnostic
Test Mode) can be used to energize either the front
or rear injector once each second for a total of five
seconds.

With the engine off, Scanalyzer (Active Diagnostic
Test Mode) can be used to turn fuel pump on for
periods up to 30 seconds. Power to the pump also
includes power to the fuel injectors and ignition
coil.
SCANALYZER NOTES
Clear codes and confirm proper
operation with no check engine
lamp.
Replace ECM. See
