Typical installation
V1000
Consider the following key points when installing V1000:
1. Use the recommended grounding and surge suppressor connections.
2. Use the recommended cables for interfacing ODU (refer to the supported power supply and cable
length details in the Power supply units (PSU) section).
3. Always install the ODU 0.5 meters below the tip of the pole.
Figure 67 shows a typical installation of V1000 CN on a mast and powered through PoE power injector.
