Port:
With the Select Serial 1 screen displayed, the current setting for the Port: parameter
will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to the next parameter.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to step through and select the port to use for serial 1
and then press the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER
key to save the new setting and return to the previous screen. Available ports are:
COM1
COM2
COM3
COM4
USB-PRT1
USB-PRT2
USB-PRT3
USB-PRT4
USB-PRT5
USB-PRT6
USB-PRT6
USB-PC
NONE (blank)
Scale:
With the Select Serial 1 screen displayed, the current setting for the Scale: parameter
will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to the next parameter.
Otherwise, use the numeric keys to enter the scale number for the serial port to use and
then press the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key
to save the new setting and return to the previous screen.
Type:
With the Select Serial 1 screen displayed, the current setting for the Type: parameter
will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press the ENTER key to return to
the Select Serial screen.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to step through and select the communication type and
then press the ENTER key to save the new setting and return to the Select Serial
screen. Available types are:
SB250
SB250M
SB500
SB500M
SB80
SB200
SB300
SB400
SMA
Computer Fmt
On Demand
Custom
** Add Serial **
With the Select Serial screen displayed, press the A key or use the Navigation Keys to
select (highlight) and then press the ENTER key to select ** Add Serial **. The display will
change to show the Setup Serial 2 screen.
The setup parameters for adding an additional Serial port are the same as the setup for
Serial 1. Refer to the Setup Serial 1 parameters.
