Startup Screen
1. Press the ON/OFF key to turn on the 825.
2. The display will perform a short self-test and then change to the Startup screen. Note that
when the 825 is initially started, a countdown starting at 7 seconds will appear to the right
of 1. Application program. When the countdown is complete, the application
program will automatically start.
3. To allow unlimited time to review the Startup screen, press the Navigation Keys Down
Arrow or UP Arrow to stop the countdown.
4. The following describes the Startup screen.
A. The top left of the Startup screen displays the indicator model number, Cardinal 825.
B. This is the main board software version.
C. This item identifies the version of the boot loader software (e.g., Loader: 1.09.004).
D. This is the operating system (OS) version (e.g., 1.12.009).
E. This line identifies how many option cards are installed into the main board and what
slots they are installed in. A graphic representation of the 10 slots is shown with the
filled ones indicator. From the left to right, the slots are numbered one through ten.
F. This part of the screen lists the installed option cards. Each option card is shown on
one line in the slot it occupies, the type of card and the card software version
G. This is the MAC Address of the indicator.
