Youmustknowtherulesorlawsforsafetythatareused
ineachareathatyouwillbein.Makesurethatyourtruck
andmachineareequippedwiththecorrectsafetyequip-
ment.
Loadthemachineontoatrailer:
1.Putachockblocktothefrontandrearofalltrailer
wheels.
2.Uselowidlespeed,movetheskidsteerslowlyonto
thetrailer.Keepthemachineinthecenteroftheramp
andtrailer.
3.Lowerthebucketorattachmentsontothetrailer.Make
surenottoliftthefrontofthemachineoffthetrailer.
4.Shuttheengineoff.
5.Ifapplicable,removethekey.
NOTE:Smallframeunitsshouldroutethestrapas
thetopimageshows.Mediumandlargeframeunits
shouldroutethestrapasthethirdimageshows,
throughthehandholdsorusethekeyholeavailable
ontheliftarmstops.
6.Usestrapstofastentheskidsteertothetrailer.Only
usethetie-downlocations,inthefrontandreariden-
tiedwiththetie-downdecal.
7.Putchockblocksatbothendsofthewheelsortracks
ofthemachine.
8.Removethechockblocksfromthetrailerwheels.
Unloadthemachinefromatrailer:
1.Putachockblocktothefrontandrearofalltrailer
wheels.
2.Removethetiedownstraps.
3.Removethechockblocksatbothendsofthewheels
ortracksofthemachine.
4.Startthemachineandkeepatalowidlespeed.
5.Driveslowlydownthecenterofthetrailerorramps.
