4.Opentherearservicedoorandengagethedoorlatch
onthelowerright-handside.
5.Locatethein-linelterontheright-handsideofthe
machinenearthefueltankcap.
6.Cleanthein-linefuellterandhoses.
In-linelterremoval
1.Dependingonthetypeofin-linefuellterclampsyou
haveperformoneofthefollowingprocedures:
•
Loosenandslidetheclamp(2)awayfromthein-line
fuellter(1).Repeatontheothersideofthein-line
lter.
•
Squeezethetwotabsontheclampandslidethe
clampawayfromthein-linefuellter.Repeatonthe
othersideofthein-linelter.
2.T akenoteofwhichwaythearrowonthein-linelteris
pointingbeforeyouremove.
3.Grabthefuelhosewithonehandandthein-linelter
withtheother.Twistandpullawayfromeachotherto
removethein-linelterfromthehose.Repeatproce-
durefortheotherside.

1.Besurethearrowonthein-linelterisfacinginthe
samedirectionastheoldlter.
2.Grabthefuelhosewithonehandandthein-linelter
withtheother.Pushthefuelhoseontothefuellter.
Repeatprocedurefortheotherside.
3.Dependingonthetypeofin-linefuellterclampsyou
haveperformoneofthefollowingprocedures:
•
Slidetheclamps(2)towardthein-linefuellter(1)
andtighten.
•
Squeezethetwotabsontheclampandslidethe
clamptowardsthein-linefuellter.Repeatonthe
othersideofthein-linelter.
NOTE:Donotstarttheengineuntilyoupurgetheairfrom
thefuelsystem.
