Replacethehydraulicoillterevery500hofoperationorifthewarninglampilluminates.
NOTICE:Replacethehydraulicoillteraftertherst20hofoperationorifamajorhydrauliccomponenthasbeen
replaced.
1.Removeanyattachmentsandplacethemachineon
rmlevelground.
2.Opentheenginehood.
3.Opentherearservicedoorandengagetherearservice
doorlatchlocatednearthelowerhinge.
4.LocatetheHydraulicoillter(1)totheleftofthera-
diator.Seethetopgureforradialmachinesandthe
bottomgureforverticalmachines.
5.Makesurethatthefunnelanddrainhosearesecure.
6.Directthedrainhoseintoasuitablecontainer.
7.Slowlyloosenthehydraulicllcap(2)torelievepres-
sureinthesystem.Leavethecapon,butloose.
8.Cleantheareaaroundthehydrauliclter.
9.Turnthehydraulicoilltercounter-clockwiseandre-
move.Disposeofthelterproperly.
10.ApplyathinlayerofcleanoilontheO-ringofthenew
lter.
11.Installthelter.Handtightenthelter1/2to3/4turn
afterthelterO-ringtouchesthelterhead.
NOTICE:DONOTusealterstrapwrenchtotightenthe
lter.Handtightenonly.
12.Starttheengineandcheckforoilleaksaroundthe
hydrauliclter.
13.Checktheuidlevel.Theoillevelshouldbewithinthe
middleonethirdofthesightglass.Addoilasrequired.
14.Unlatchandclosetherearservicedoor.
