Primaryfuellter
Replacetheprimaryfuellterevery500hofoperation.
1.Placethemachineonrm,levelsurface.
2.Turnofftheengine.
3.Opentheenginehood.
4.Opentherearservicedoorandengagetherearservice
doorlatchlocatednearthelowerhinge.
5.Cleantheareaaroundtheprimaryfuellterwithwater
separator(1)beforeproceeding.
6.Placeacleansuitablecontainerunderneaththefuel
pre-lter.
7.Useastrapwrenchandremovethelter.
8.Removetherubbersealfromthestudonthelterhead.
9.Useaclothandcleanthegasketsurfacesofthelter
body.
10.Applycleanengineoiltothenewrubberseal.
11.Installtherubbersealonthelterheadstud.
12.Applycleanengineoiltothegasketofthenewlter.
DONOTllthenewlterwithfuelbeforeinstallation.
13.Turnthelterontothelterbodyuntiltheltergasket
makescontactwiththelterbody.Continuetotighten
thelterwithyourhandfor1/2to3/4turn.
NOTICE:Donotuseastrapwrenchtotightenthelter.
NOTICE:Donotstarttheengineuntilyoupurgetheair
fromthefuelsystem.

14.PressthePOWERbuttonorturnthekeyswitchtothe
RUNposition.Waitapproximatelyoneminutetoallow
thefuelpumptopurgeairfromthefuelsystem.
15.Starttheengineandcheckforfuelleaksaroundthe
fuellter.
16.Unlatchandclosetherearservicedoor.
17.Closetheenginehood
