Disconnectthebatteries
•
DisconnecttheEngineControlUnit(ECU)
•
IfyourmachineisequippedwiththeElectro-Hydrauliccontrolsoption,disconnecttheUniversalControlModule
(UCM)
•
DisconnectthealternatorB+andD+terminalwires
•
Connectthegroundcablefromtheweldingapparatustothecomponentonwhichyouwillperformthewelding
operation.
Alwaysconnecttheweldingapparatustothesamestructurethatisbeingwelded.
Neverconnecttheweldingapparatusgroundtoacomponentofthehydraulicsystem.
