sistsofafamilyoffuelsderivedfromvegetableoils
treatedwithmethylesters.
NOTICE:BiodieselFuelblendsareapprovedforyouren-
gineonlyiftheycomplywithEN14214SpecicationStan-
dardsorASTMD6751.
NOTICE:Itisimperativethatyoucheckwhichblendisap-
provedforyourenginewithyourCASECONSTRUCTION
dealer.BeawarethattheuseofBiodieselFuelthatdoes
notcomplywiththeStandardsmentionedabovecould
leadtoseveredamagetotheengineandfuelsystemof
yourmachine.Theuseoffuelsthatarenotapprovedmay
voidCASECONSTRUCTIONWarrantycoverage.
Biodieselfuelusageconditions
NOTICE:TheBiodieselFuelmustmeetthefuelSpeci-
cationmentionedabove.
BiodieselFuelmustbepurchasedfromatrustedsup-
plierthatunderstandstheproductandmaintainsgood
fuelquality.BiodieselFuelmustbepre-blendedbythe
supplier.MixingBiodieselFuelson-sitecanresultincor-
rectmixturethatcanleadtoproblemswithbothengine
andfuelsystem.
EngineperformanceisaffectedbytheuseofBiodiesel
Fuel.Theremaybeupto12%reductioninpoweror
torquedependingontheblendused.
NOTICE:DONOTmodifytheengineand/orinjection
pumpsettingstorecoverthereducedperformance.
Thereducedpowermustbeacceptedifusingany
BiodieselFuelblend.
Somemodicationmayberequiredtoallowyourengine
torunBiodieselFuel.Consultyoudealerforcomplete
informationonthesemodications.
BiodieselFuelhasahighercloudpointthanDieselFuel.
NOTICE:TheuseofhighBiodieselFuelblendsarenot
recommendedincoldweatherconditions.
WithBiodieselFuels,itmaybenecessarytochangethe
engineoil,engineoillterandfuellterelementsmore
frequentlythanwithDieselFuels.BiodieselFuelcanre-
moverustandparticlesfromtheinsideofon-sitefuel
storagetanksthatwouldnormallyadheretothesidesof
thetank.Likeparticledepositsthatcommonlyoccurwith
DieselFuel,theseparticlescanbecometrappedbythe
machinefuellters,causingblockageandshorteningl-
terlife.Incoldweather,thisismorelikelytohappen.Con-
sultyourCASECONSTRUCTIONdealerforinformation
oncoldweatheroperationandpropermaintenanceinter-
valswhenusinganyBiodieselFuelblend.
WhenhandlingBiodieselFuel,caremustbetakennotto
allowwaterintothefuelsupply.BiodieselFuelwillactu-
allyattractmoisturefromtheatmosphere.
Fueltanksmustbekeptasfullaspossibletolimitthe
amountofairandwatervaporsinthem.Itmaybenec-
essarytodrainthefuellterwatertapmorefrequently.
Potentialoxidationandstabilitycouldbeaproblemwith
thefuelstoredinthemachine.
NOTICE:Machinesmustnotbestoredformorethan
threemonthswithBiodieselFuelblendsinthefuelsys-
tem.
Iflongstorageperiodsarenecessary,theenginemust
runonDieselFuelfor20hourstoushtheBiodieselFuel
outoftheenginefuelsystempriortostorage.
NOTICE:BiodieselFuelmustnotbestoredinon-sitestor-
agetanksformorethanthreemonths.
AnyspillageofBiodieselFuelmustbecleanedupimme-
diatelybeforeitcancausedamagetotheenvironment
andthepaintnishofthemachine.
BeforeusingBiodieselFuelblendsyoushouldconsult
withyourdealertoreceivefullinformationabouttheap-
provedblendforyourmachineandanydetailedcondi-
tionsofitsusage.
NOTICE:Beawarethatnotfulllingtherequirements
andconditionsofBiodieselFuelusagewillvoidyourma-
chine’sCASECONSTRUCTIONWarrantycoverage.
