6-WORKINGOPERATIONS
Installingtheattachment
1.Conrmtheredmarkingsontheindicatorpins(2)are
visible(unlockposition).Iftheredmarkingsarenot
visible,pressandholdthehydrauliccouplerswitch(1)
intheunlockdirection.Withtheotherhandactivate
andholdthecontrollever’sauxiliaryswitch.
2.Tiltthehydrauliccouplerforward.
3.Slowlymovethemachinetowardtheattachmentuntil
bothtabsontopofthecouplerareunderneathandin
alignmentwiththeattachment’smountingpoints.
4.Raisetheloaderarmenoughtoengagetheattach-
ment.
5.Curlthecouplerbacktowardsthemachineuntilthe
attachmentiscompletelyrestingonthecouplerand
offtheground.
NOTE:Inthenextstep,iftheindicatorpinsdonot
retractyoumayneedtorepositiontheattachmenton
thecoupler.
6.Activatetheauxiliaryswitchonthecontrollevertothe
endofitscontrolstroke.Theindicatorpins(2)onthe
couplerwillretractintothelockpositionandthered
markingswillnolongerbevisibleontheindicatorpins.
7.Slowlyraiseandrolltheattachmentoutward.Donot
leavetheoperatorseatbutmakeavisualinspection
fromthecabthatthehydrauliccoupler’slowerlock
pins(1)extendfullyintotheattachment’slowertab
slots.
WARNING
Fallingobjecthazard!
Beforeoperatingthemachine,alwaysmake
surethebucketorattachmentissecurely
lockedintothecoupler.Aloaderbucketor
attachmentthatisnotsecurelylockedinto
thecouplercouldcomeoffduringloaderop-
eration.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorse-
riousinjury.
