NOTE:Afterthequick-disconnecthoseinstallation,oilwill
automaticallybegintoowoutofthehose.
8.Threadthequick-disconnecthoseassembly(1)onto
thequick-disconnectdraintting(2).
9.Allowtheoiltodraincompletelyfromthecrankcase.
10.Removethereceptacle,withtheusedoil,fromunder
themachine.
11.Disposeoftheoilinaccordancewiththelocalregula-
tions.
12.Turntheoldengineoilltercounter-clockwisetore-
move.
13.Disposeofthelterinaccordancewiththelocalreg-
ulations.
14.Useacleanclothandwipesealingsurfaceoftheold
lterbasetoremovealldirt.
15.Applyathinlayerofcleangreaseoroiltothegasket
ofthenewlter.

16.Turnthenewoillterclockwiseontothebaseuntil
thegasketmakescontactwiththebase.Continueto
tightenthelterwithyourhandfor3/4toonefullturn
asdirectedonthelterlabel.

lter.Anoillterstrapwrenchcancausealeakifthelter
isdentedoroverstressed.
17.Removethequick-disconnecthoseassembly(1)from
thequick-disconnectdraintting(2).
