ground,amaximumof25mm(1.0in)abovethesur-
face.

1.Ifmachineisblocked,lowerittotheground.
2.Changethefuelltersandllthefueltankifneeded.
3.Tightenthecoolingsystemdrainvalves.
4.Fillenginecoolantsystem.
5.Checkengineoillevel.
6.Checktheconditionoftheenginefanbelt.Replaceit
ifrequired.
7.Checkthehydraulicuidlevel.
8.Lubricatethemachinegreasettings.
9.Useapetroleumbasesolventandremovetherustand
corrosionpreventivefromthehydrauliccylinderrods
andspools,etc.
10.Installafullychargedbattery.
NOTE:Checkthebatteryperiodicallyforthecorrectelec-
trolytelevel.Wearfaceprotectionandtesttheelectrolyte
withahydrometer.Whenthehydrometerreadingisnear
1.215,chargethebattery.
11.Removeairfromtheenginefuellines.
12.Primetheturbochargeroillineswithoilusingthefol-
lowingprocedure:
•
Disconnecttheelectricalconnectortotheinjection
pumpsolenoid.Thiswillpreventtheenginefrom
starting.
•
Makesureallpersonsareclearofthemachine.
Actuatethestarterforabout10sto15s.
•
Reconnectthewirestotheinjectionpumpsolenoid.
NOTE:Beforestartingtheengine,makesurethereareno
leaks,missingorbrokenparts.
13.Starttheengineandrunatidlespeedfor2min.
Checkforleaksaroundtheltersanddrainplugs.
