Code 128 Scanned Data Input not allowed.
Codabar Scanned Data Input
All legal Codabar characters accepted. If asterisks and
alpha stop and start characters are encountered, they are
not printed in human-readable form on the printed label if
label printing is selected.
Manually Entered Data Input
All legal Codabar numeric and control characters accepted.
The manually entered characters are printed only in human-
readable form on the printed label if label printing is selected.

CAUTION
If using Codabar (excluding Monarch 11 and UKBTS), the illuminator will
not evaluate the integrity of the scanned data. Verify the data scanned
matches the information displayed on the illuminator screen.

Must be in the following format:
a Start Code [a or A]
xx 2 digit Blood Bank ID [0 – 9]
yy 2 digit last two digits of current year [0 – 9]

If the check digit is equal to ten, it is represented in the
barcode portion of the label by a “-” [0 – 9 or minus]
a Stop Code [a or A]
