Section 3.9 Features for Safety and Function
A microprocessor controls the illuminator. The illuminator also
contains:
Air flow sensor to make sure that the fan is working.
Air filter to cover the fan vent and prevent dust from
entering the illuminator.
Container placement sensors to ensure the containers are
positioned correctly for illumination.
Door lock to lock the door during treatment.
Door lock sensor to ensure the door is locked during
treatment.
Magnetic door sensor to ensure the door is closed.
Interlock switch to ensure the door is closed.
Side access panel sensor to ensure the side access panel is
closed during illumination.
WARNING
The side access panel should only be opened by a qualified field
service engineer. There are no user serviceable parts accessible by
the side access panel.
Agitator sensor to ensure the agitator is moving.
Drawer sensor to ensure the drawer is closed.
