Manually Entered Data
Must be in the following format:
a 1 character secondary data identifier and part of the
Country Collection Facility Code
pppp 4 digits of the Country Collection Facility Code
yy 2 digit year of collection
nnnnnn 6 digit Donation Number
ff Two optional non-data character flag digits used for
either process control or for a data transmission check
(checksum). Optionally displayed in the human-
readable portion if they are not a checksum. When
displayed human-readable, these two characters are
rotated ninety degrees.
k This character is printed enclosed in a box and it is used
to support accurate manual data entry.

Must be in the following format:
! Primary Data Identifier [!]
ccc 3 digit Country ID [0 – 9]
iii 3 digit Blood Bank ID [0 – 9]
nnnnnnnnnnnn 6 to 12 digit Donation Number [0 – 9]
Codabar Scanned Data not allowed.
