Section 4.1 Introduction
This chapter will guide you through a complete treatment cycle
with the illuminator. A summary of operator steps is given in the
Appendix.
Illumination is one step in the INTERCEPT Blood System process.
Refer to the ‘Directions for Use’ included with the INTERCEPT
Processing Set, and follow the instructions for the preparation of
blood products that must be completed before and after
illumination.
NOTE:
Only use approved INTERCEPT Processing Sets cleared by the
appropriate regulatory agencies in your country.
