1 Introduction

and maintenance of the INVOS™ regional saturation patient monitoring system. Refer to the
institution for any additional training or skill requirements beyond those identified here for

Pediatric (application for INVOS™) Disposable INVOS™ pediatric regional saturation sensor has been designed for
use with pediatric patients weighing less than 40 kg
Infant/neonatal (application for INVOS™) Disposable infant/neonatal INVOS™ OxyAlert NIRSensor sensor has a small
adhesive pad and a gentle hydrocolloid adhesive for use with infant or neonatal
patients. Suitable for patients weighing less than 5 kg.
Somatic (application for INVOS™) Skeletal muscle tissue area of measurement
