Preamplifier
The preamplifier provides an electrically isolated connection for the sensor.
Connect the 15 foot preamplifier cable to the side panel connection on the monitor. To do this,
hold the connector at the end of the preamplifier cable with the red dot facing up. Align the red
dot on the silver connector with the red dot on the side panel connection. Insert the cable con-
nector into the side panel connection while keeping the dots aligned. Be sure to fully insert the
connector until it locks. When using two preamplifiers, repeat this operation for the second pre-
amplifier.
Caution:
Do not twist or bend the connector while inserting. The connector should be pushed straight in
without need for excessive force.
