Run a Printer Cleaning Card
Runacleaningcardtocleandebrisfromtheinsideoftheprinterandfromthe
hopperrollers.Thecleaningcardcanremovemostcontaminantsfromthe
printer.Runacleaningcardafterevery250cardsprocessedbytheprinter,or
every6months.
1. Preparetheprinterforcleaning.
A. Powerontheprinter.
B. Opentheprintercoverandremovetheprint
ribboncartridge.
C. Closethecover.
D. Openthe input hopperandremoveany
unprintedcards.
E. Openthecleaningcardpackageand
removethecleaningcard.
F. Loadthecleaningcardintheinput
hopper.(Plantocleantheprinter
immediately.Thecleaningcarddriesoutif
itisoutofitspackageformorethanafew
minutes.)
Ifyouhaveamanualfeedprinter,wait
untilyouarepromptedtoinsertthe
cleaningcard.
