Enabling GVRP Globally
To configure GVRP globally, use the following command.
• Enable GVRP for the entire switch.
CONFIGURATION mode
gvrp enable

Dell(config-gvrp)#no disable
Dell(config-gvrp)#show config

To inspect the global configuration, use the show gvrp brief command.
Enabling GVRP on a Layer 2 Interface
To enable GVRP on a Layer 2 interface, use the following command.
• Enable GVRP on a Layer 2 interface.
INTERFACE mode
gvrp enable

Dell(conf-if-te-1/21)#switchport
Dell(conf-if-te-1/21)#gvrp enable
Dell(conf-if-te-1/21)#no shutdown
