Configuration steps for ERPM
ERPM sample steps for configuring the Source sessions
Step Command Purpose
1 configure terminal
Enter global configuration mode.

monitor session <id> type erpm The <id> needs to be unique and not
already defined in the box specifying type
as 'erpm' defines a RPM session.
3 source Interface | Range
Specify the port or list of ports that needs
to be monitored

direction Specify rx, tx or both in case to monitor
ingress/egress or both ingress and egress
packets on the specified port..

erpm source-ip <id> dest-ip <id> Specify the source ip address and the
destination ip where the packet needs to
be sent.

<no> flow-based enable Specify flow-based enable for mirroring
on a flow by flow basis and also for vlan
as source.

no disable
No disable command is mandatory in
order for a erpm session to be active.
