5 Click the [Refresh] to automatically configure installed options.

The [Refresh] is available only if bi-directional communication is
available with the machine; otherwise it is grayed out.
6 From the [Device Options] list, select an option, one at a time, and then
select [Enable] or [Disable] from the [Settings] menu.

If [Printer Memory] is selected, select [256 MB] or [768 MB]
according to the installed memory. The factory default setting is
[256 MB].

If [Memory Card] is selected, select [Disable] or [Enable (1 GB
Over)], according to the installed CompactFlash card.
7 Click [Apply].

Depending on the version of the operating system, [Apply] may
not appear. If this is the case, continue with the next step.
8 Select the [General] tab.
9 Click [Preferences] or [Printing Preferences].
Printing Preferences dialog box appears.
10 Select the default settings for your machine, such as the default media
format you use, in the appropriate tabs.
11 Click [Apply].
12 Click [OK] to exit from the Printing Preferences dialog box.
13 Click [OK] to exit from the Properties dialog box.
