(6)Fitthenewchargeelectrodeontothemountingpillarsandsecure
withthefixingscrew.Ensurethechargeelectrodeiscorrectforthe
printer(seepg.9--5).
(7)Passthechargeelectrodewiringalongtheprintheadchassisand
throughtheholeinthebulkheadseal(seestep(4))intotheupper
partofthehead.Carefullypushthecableglandonthewiringinto
thebulkheadseal.
(8)Fitheatshrinksleevingontothechargeelectrodewiresandconnect
thewiresintotheconduitwiring(seestep(2)).Useaheatgunto
tightentheheatshrinksleevingaroundtheconnectors.
(9)Refitthecoverovertheupperpartofthehead.
CAUTION Takecarewhenstartinguptheprinter.Ifanew
chargeelectrodehasbeenfitted,itmaybenecessary
toadjustthepositionofthechargeelectrode(see
below).
ChargeElectrodeAlignment
Theprintermustbeshutdown,butreadytorun.Theprintheadmust
beremovedfromitsholsterandfittedintoamaintenanceholster
A1.5mmballdriverorhexagonwrenchwillbe required.
Thechargeelectrodemustbeadjustedsothattheinkjetisinthecentre
ofthechargeelectrodeslotandrunsparallelwiththeslot.Adjustment
shouldonlybenecessarywhenachargeelectrodeorthecharge
electrodemountingisreplaced.Tocorrectaslightmisalignmentofthe
jetinthechargeelectrodeslot,itshouldonlybenecessarytostartfrom
step(5).
