Peltier Assembly Fan Replacement
WARNING: The airdryer must be switched off and power
removed.
The Peltier assembly can be removed from the cabinet for this repair.
(see Pg. B--32). Alternatively the fan can be replaced as follows:

Replacing the Peltier Fan

(1) Insidethecabinet,disconnectthePeltier assemblywiringfromthe
PCB.
(2) DisconnectthePeltierpowerandtemperaturesensorwiresattheir
inline wiring connectors and cut the cable tie securing the wiring
to the Peltier assembly.
(3) Carefully slide the Peltier heatsink cover back towards the
compressor.
(4) Outside the cabinet, remove the inlet filter shroud.
(5) RemovethescrewssecuringthePeltierassembly,toreleasethefan.
Remove the fan and its wiring from the cabinet.
(6) Carefully slide the connectors and wiring on the replacement fan
downthecenteroftheheatsinkinsidethecover. Thefanismarked
with an arrow showing direction of air flow and this must point
towardtheheatsink. Fitthefanintopositionandsecurethefanand
Peltier assembly with the fixing screws.
(7) Carefullyslidethecoverbackintothecorrectposition. Connectthe
inline wiring connectors and reconnect the wiring to the PCB.
(8) Refit the inlet filter shroud.
