StrobeAssemblyReplacement
Theprintermustbeshutdownandtheprintheadremovedfromits
holster.
(1)Removethecoverovertheupperpartoftheheadby:
(a)removingthefourscrewsinthesides,
(b)removingthetwoscrewsatthetop,
(c)carefullypullingthesidesawayfromthechassisand
removingthe cover.
(2)Tracethewiresfromthestrobetotheirconnectionsattheconduit
wiringintheupperpartofthehead(seepg.8--5).
(3)Cuttheheatshrinksleevingaroundtheconnectionsanddisconnect
thestrobeassemblywires.
(4)Tracethewirestotheircableglandinthebulkheadseal.Carefully
pushthecableglandoutofthebulkheadsealinthedirectionofthe
dropgenerator.
Thestrobeispartofthechargeelectrodemount,andthereforeitisthe
mountwhichmustbereplacedasfollows:
(5)Removethescrewsecuringthechargeelectrodeandliftoffthe
electrode.
(6)Attherearoftheprinthead,removethescrewssecuringthecharge
electrodemount.

generatorawayfromthehead.
