Airdryer -- Electronics
The airdryer circuits perform the following functions:
D Periodically samples the output air pressure and humidity, and if
either is out of specification, provides both visual and audible
alarms.
Airdryer -- Checks
Beforeturningonthepower totheairdryerandprinter,ensurethatthe
airdryer isolator is switched off.
(1) Turn on the air supply and check that there are no leaks.
(2) Turn on the power to the airdryer. Check thatthe powerindicator
and the fault lamp on the airdryer are off.
(3) Turnontheairdryerisolator. Checkthatthepowerindicatoronthe
airdryer turns on and the fault lamp remains off.
(4) Check the air flow rate (see pg. B--19).
(5) Checkthehumidityoftheairbeingsuppliedfromtheairdryer(see
pg. B--19).
The printer can now be used.
