16 Check the correct installation of the TCP/IP protocol on the
host PC:
In a DOS window, enter the command:
ping 127.0.0.1
If the TCP/IP protocol is installed properly, the following message
will appear (the values vary for different computers and networks):
Pinging 127.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=32
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=32
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=32
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=32
