4.3.1 Inserting or changing needles on 1-needle
machines

To change or insert the needle on 1-needle machines:
1. Turn the handwheel until the needle bar (1) is at the top dead
center.
2. Loosen the screw (2).
3. Pull the needle out towards the bottom.
4. Insert the new needle.
Important
Align the needle in such a way that the groove (3) faces the
hook (4).
5. Tighten the screw (2).
