4.3.2 Inserting or changing needles on 2-needle
machines

To change or insert the needle on 2-needle machines:
1. Turn the handwheel until the needle bar (1) is at the top dead
center.
2. Loosen the screws (2) on both sides.
3. Pull each of the needles out towards the bottom.
4. Insert new needles on both sides.
Important
When inserting the needles, align them such that the grooves (3)
face away from each other. Each groove must point to the hook
that belongs to this needle.
5. Tighten the screws (2) on both sides.
