8 Needle bar linkage
Proper setting
1. Adjust the stitch length adjusting wheel to 0.
The needle must enter the needle hole precisely in the center.
Order
First, check the following adjustment:
• A straight and undamaged needle has to be inserted ( Operating
Instructions)
8.1 Aligning the needle bar linkage sideways

To align the needle bar linkage sideways:
1. Disassemble the arm cover ( p. 15).
2. Disassemble the head cover ( p. 16).
3. Adjust the stitch length adjusting wheel to 0.
4. Loosen the threaded pins (1) for the set collars (2).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before aligning the needle
bar linkage.
