8.9 Every 500 operating hours
8.9.1 Replacing the V-belt
Perform this maintenance work at the latest after
two years.
Protective equipment:

Working clothes
n
Safety shoes
n
Protective gloves
1.
Park the machine safely Ä Chapter 6.5 „Parking the machine
in secured condition“ on page 90.
2. Allow the engine to cool down.
3. Loosen the tensioning screw (1) and screw (2) on the gener-
ator.
4. Press the generator inwards, and release and remove the V-
belt.
5. Install the new V-belt.
6.
Tension the V-belt to the specified value Ä Chapter 8.8.2
„Checking, tensioning the V-belt“ on page 117.
7. Retighten the clamping screw and screw.
