Procedure
1.SetDiscreteOutputSourcetoFlowSwitch,ifyouhavenotalreadydoneso.
2.SetFlowSwitchVariabletotheowvariablethatwillbeusedtocontroltheowswitch.
3.SetFlowSwitchSetpointtotheowratebelowwhichyouwanttheowswitchtoturnon.
4.SetHysteresistothepercentageofvariationaboveandbelowthesetpointthatwilloperateasa
deadband.
Hysteresisdenesarangearoundthesetpointwithinwhichtheowswitchwillnotchange.The
defaultis5%.Thevalidrangeis0.1%to10%.
(5)Ifyouassignowswitchtothediscreteoutput,youmustalsocongureFlowSwitchVariable,FlowSwitchSetpoint,and
Hysteresis.
(6)Ifyourtransmitterisconguredwithtwodiscreteoutputs,youcanassignowswitchtobothofthem.However,
theywillsharethesettingsforFlowSwitchVariable,FlowSwitchSetpoint,andHysteresis.
