Thedefaultslugowlimitsareappropriateformostapplications.Raisingthelowslugowlimitor
loweringthehighslugowlimitwillincreasethepossibilityofthetransmitterreportingslugow
conditions.
Ifsluglimitshavebeencongured,andslugowoccurs,aslugowalarmwillbegenerated.Outputs
thatareconguredforowrateholdtheirlastknownvalueuntiltheslugowclears,oruptothe
conguredslugowduration,whichevercomesrst.
Procedure
1.Checkwhetherslugowalarmshavebeengenerated.
Ifthetransmitterisnotgeneratingslugowalarms,thenslugowisnotthesourceofyourproblem.
2.Checktheprocessforcavitation,ashing,orleaks.
3.Checktheconguredslugowlimitsandduration.
Aslugowdurationof0.0secondswillcauseowoutputstoreportzeroowassoonasslug
owisdetected.Ifyouareexperiencingslugowalarmsandnoowoutput,thismayberesolved
byincreasingtheslugowduration.

4.Monitorthedensityoutputundernormalprocessconditions.
