Prerequisites
•Duringdensitycalibration,thesensormustbecompletelylledwiththecalibrationuid,and
owthroughthesensormustbeatthelowestrateallowedbyyourapplication.Thisisusually
accomplishedbyclosingtheshutoffvalvedownstreamfromthesensor,thenllingthesensor
withtheappropriateuid.
•
D1andD2densitycalibrationrequireaD1(low-density)uidandaD2(high-density)uid.You
mayuseairandwater.
•
Thecalibrationsmustbeperformedwithoutinterruption,intheordershown.Makesurethatyou
arepreparedtocompletetheprocesswithoutinterruption.
•Beforeperformingthecalibration,recordyourcurrentcalibrationparameters.Youcandothisby
savingthecurrentcongurationtoaleonthePC.Ifthecalibrationfails,restoretheknownvalues.
Restriction
ForT-Seriessensors,theD1calibrationmustbeperformedonairandtheD2calibrationmustbe
performedonwater.
Tip
ForT-Seriessensorsonly,youhavetheoptiontoperformaD3andD4calibrationtoimprovethe
accuracyofthedensitymeasurementiftheuiddensityisoutsideofthe0.8g/cm

to1.2g/cm

density
