•DonotperformtheD1andD2calibration.
•PerformtheD3calibrationifyouhaveonecalibrateduid.
•PerformboththeD3andD4calibrationsifyouhavetwocalibrateduids(otherthanairand
water).Thecalibrationsmustbeperformedwithoutinterruption,intheordershown.Makesure
thatyouarepreparedtocompletetheprocesswithoutinterruption.
9.4.1PerformaD3andD4densitycalibrationusingProLinkII
Prerequisites
•Duringdensitycalibration,thesensormustbecompletelylledwiththecalibrationuid,and
owthroughthesensormustbeatthelowestrateallowedbyyourapplication.Thisisusually
accomplishedbyclosingtheshutoffvalvedownstreamfromthesensor,thenllingthesensor
withtheappropriateuid.
•ForD3densitycalibration,theD3uidmustmeetthefollowingrequirements:
−Minimumdensityof0.6g/cm

−Minimumdifferenceof0.1g/cm
3
betweenthedensityoftheD3uidandthedensityofwater.
ThedensityoftheD3uidmaybeeithergreaterorlessthanthedensityofwater.
•ForD4densitycalibration,theD4uidmustmeetthefollowingrequirements:
−Minimumdensityof0.6g/cm

−Minimumdifferenceof0.1g/cm

Beforeperformingthecalibration,recordyourcurrentcalibrationparameters.Youcandothisby
savingthecurrentcongurationtoaleonthePC.Ifthecalibrationfails,restoretheknownvalues.
