PROFIBUS-DP Confirmation with EPSON RC+ 5.0
When a PROFIBUS-DP board is installed to the Controller, it is recognized automatically.
Confirm whether EPSON RC+ 5.0 has recognized the PROFIBUS-DP board using the
following procedure.
(1) Select EPSON RC+ 5.0 menu-[Setup]-[Controller] to display the [Setup Controller]
dialog.

(2) Select [Inputs / Outputs].
(3) Make sure that the following are displayed.
Fieldbus-Installed : Yes
Fieldbus Type : PROFIBUS DP
Fieldbus Slave ID : (depends on the address configure switch)
(4) Click the <Close> button.

Electronic Information File (GSD file)
A GSD file (EPSN0A4C.gsd) is supplied for PROFIBUS-DP network configuration. The
file is located in the following folder in the Manual Update CD that is attached to the
Robot Controller.
