2. Tap Fax on the home screen.
Note:
When recipients are registered in contacts, you can access the fax mode display by entering the registry number in Quick
Dial on the home screen.
3. Specify the recipient.
You can send the same monochrome fax to up to 200 recipients. However, a color fax can only be sent to one
recipient at a time.
❏ To enter manually: Tap Enter Directly, enter numbers using the on-screen keypad, and then tap OK.
- To add a pause (pause for three seconds during dialing), enter a hyphen(-).
- If you have set an external access code in Line Type, enter "#" (hash) instead of the actual external access
code at the beginning of the fax number.
❏ To select from the contacts list: Tap the Recipient tab and the recipient you want to send. If the recipient is
not displayed, tap
to register the recipient to the contacts list.
❏ To select from the sent fax history: Tap
on the Recipient tab, and then select a recipient from the
displayed list.
❏ To select from the Frequent list: Tap the Frequent tab and the recipient you want to send.
Note:
❏ When Direct Dialing Restrictions in Security Settings is enabled, you can only select fax recipients from the
contacts list or the sent fax history. You cannot manually enter a fax number.
❏ To delete recipients you have entered, tap the

in the recipient display or the number of faxes you selected on the
LCD screen, select the recipient from the list, and then tap Remove.
4. Tap the Fax Settings tab, and then make settings such as the resolution and the sending method as necessary.
When you set Color Mode to Color, proceed to step 6.
Note:
❏ To send 2-sided originals, enable ADF 2-Sided. However, you cannot send in color with this setting.
❏ Tap
(Presets) on the fax top screen to save the current settings and the recipients in Presets. Recipients may not
be saved depending on how they are entered.
5.
When sending a fax in monochrome, tap
on the fax top screen to conrm the scanned document.
To send the fax as is, tap Start Sending, and then go to step 7. Otherwise, cancel the preview by tapping
Cancel.
