7.12.5. Configuring the Analog Video NSTC Pedestal Setup
The NSTC Pedestal Setup control allows the user to choose whether setup is inserted into the outgoing
composite analog video signal.
ON
Setup will be inserted into the outgoing composite analog video signal.
OFF
Setup will NOT be inserted into the outgoing composite analog video signal.
7.12.6. Configuring the Analog Video Line 21 Setup
The Line 21 Setup Pedestal control allows the user to choose whether setup is inserted into Line 21 of
the outgoing composite analog video signals.
Auto
Setup will automatically be inserted into Line 21 of the outgoing composite
analog video settings based on card configuration.
OFF
Setup will NOT be inserted into Line 21 of the outgoing composite analog
video signal.
7.12.7. Configuring the Analog Video PGM1A/2A
As a pair, outputs PGM1A and PGM2A may be configured to output either SDI or composite analog video.
SDI
PGM1A and PGM2A will be configured to generate SD-SDI compliant with
SMPTE 259M.
Composite
PGM1A and PGM2A will be configured to generate composite analog video.
7.12.8. Configuring the Analog Video PGM3A/4A
As a pair, outputs PGM3A and PGM4A may be configured to output either SDI or composite analog video.
SDI
PGM3A and PGM4A will be configured to generate SD-SDI compliant with
SMPTE 259M.
Composite
PGM4A and PGM4A will be configured to generate composite analog video.
7.12.9. Configuring the Analog Audio DAC Gain (-AA Version)
Each processing path of the 7812DCDA2Q-HD-AA has four analog audio outputs. The controls for each
analog audio output are the same. For the sake of brevity, only the controls for Channel 1 will be
discussed in this manual. The output analog audio levels may be selected to be either 18 dbU or 24 dbU
using the Analog Audio DAC Gain control.
18 dbU
The analog audio output level will be set to 18 dBU.
24 dbU
The analog audio output level will be set to 24 dBU.
