With hose connection:
1. Release the union nut on the hose screw connection.
2. Push the hose in as far as possible.
3. Tighten the union nut.
With rigid pipework:
1. Connect the sample water pipework to the connection nozzle.
2. Ensure that the sample water pipework is installed without mecha-
nical stress.
Connecting the sample
water outlet
Never use copper tubing.
On the non-pressurised version no back-pressure is permitted in
the cell body. The sample water outlet must be open.
On the non-pressurised version the sample water outlet must be in-
stalled so that no siphon effect can occur.
Recommendation: Position the outlet above the hopper.
On the pressurised version a maximum back-pressure of 1.5 bar is
permitted on the sample water outlet.
With hose connection:
1. Release the union nut on the hose screw connection.
2. Push the hose in as far as possible.
3. Tighten the union nut.
With rigid pipework:
1. Connect the sample water pipework to the connection nozzle.
2. Ensure that the sample water pipework is installed without mecha-
nical stress.
Connecting the drain 1. Push the hose for the drain onto the connection nozzle.
2. Ensure that the drain screw is always closed.
