you must also perform the following:
Before calibration:
1. Close the ball valves on the inlet and outlet.
2. Depressurise the unit. To this purpose open and close the
knurled nut on the drain briefly.
After calibration:
Open the inlet and outlet.
The electrode fingers or membranes on the sensors are extremely sen-
sitive! Do not touch, soil or damage.
WARNING!
Some of the buffer solutions are caustic and can cause burns.
Avoid contact with the eyes or the skin.
NOTE
To prevent the output of non-permissible control signals during cali-
bration, the "Hold function" in the system menu (display 1.6.1)
should be set to "On" (mA-outputs and controller outputs then re-
main constant during calibration).
The lower clip must be fitted into the top mount if the supplied bea-
ker is to be used, if a bag with calibration solution is used it must be
fitted into the bottom mount.
Concerning the frequence of calibration refer to the corresponding
standards (e.g. DIN 19643). Refer to the recommended intervals in
the maintenance chapter.
