Description of the
operating modes
MANUAL In the MANUAL mode dosing is not automatically controlled. The va-
lues must be continuously monitored.
The MANUAL mode is used:
 In the event of any possible system faults
 During maintenance/cleaning work or while checking the system
NOTE
The system password is required to change the settings.
When the MANUAL mode is set:
 The pumps are off, the positioner remains in its current position, if
necessary unlock the positioner and close either by hand or with
the Handdos menu.
AUTOMATIC Automatic control of chlorine, pH, combined chlorine, conductivity and
addition of flocculant
AUTO with ECO Control of the chlorine value and flocculation is performed in accor-
dance with the ECO parameter set if the Economic parameter is acti-
vated with DI 2 or 3.
STOP The STOP mode is automatically activated:
 When the sample water flow is faulty
 When a stop signal is received via the digital inputs
After activation:
 The pumps switch off, the positioner closes, mA analog output 0 %
If stop conditions no longer prevail, the mode is automatically swit-
ched to Automatic.
ADAPTION The ADAPTION mode is activated if adaption is started in the Cl
2
menu
(menu 1.1) in the display 1.1.6.
