Offset alignment If external influences result in a constant difference between the dis-
played pH value and a pH value measured manually, this difference
can be compensated:
1. Starting from the basic display in the main menu select the "Calib-
ration" area of operation.
2. Select the "pH" menu item.
3. Select the "Offset pH" parameter.
4. With the four arrow keys enter the difference between the compa-
rative value and the displayed value (comparative value minus the
displayed value).
5. Confirm the entry.
The pH offset is then concluded.
NOTE
The offset is deleted each time a new pH-7 alignment or slope align-
ment is performed.
Redox
calibration (mV)
NOTE
Redox sensors have long running-in times. After calibration with a buf-
fer solution it can therefore take several hours until the value has stabi-
lised.
1. Starting from the basic display in the main menu select the "Calib-
ration" area of operation.
2. Select the "Redox" menu item
The window "Calibration ORP" (Display 2.1.2) appears on the graphic
display.
Select the "Cal. mV" parameter.
3. Place one of the supplied beakers into the bottom clip and fill with
the buffer solution "478 mV" or clamp a bag with buffer solution
"478 mV" into the bottom clip.
4. Pull or unscrew the Redox sensor from the lid of the cell body.
5. Dip the Redox sensor through the top clip at least 2 cm deep into
the buffer solution and move slightly until the indicated value re-
mains constant.
6. Use the arrow keys to enter the value to be calibrated.
7. Confirm the entry.
8. Remove the Redox sensor from the top clip.
9. Insert or screw the Redox sensor into the lid of the cell body.
Redox calibration is then concluded.
