Safety functions The safety functions integrated into the control unit are:
Safety cut-out if the circulation fails and/or if the dosing tank signals
that it is empty and also if the sample water supply fails
Dosing time monitoring and the dosing time delay
Alarms
External stop for all controllers
Function "positioner closed" in the event of power failure
(only with external power supply for positioner)
Password protection on two levels
Infrared calibration Infrared calibration is performed in conjunction with the photometer
P42 i-cal. The measured calibration value is automatically transmitted
at the correct time with infrared light.
ECONOMIC
operating mode
If circulation is reduced when required, for example during the night,
the device switches to ECONOMIC operating mode when it is set ac-
cordingly. The control parameters for chlorine and flocculation are au-
tomatically adapted. To this purpose the device uses a second set of
parameters.
