1.1 Safety Notes
1.1.1 Intended Use
The DEPOLOX
®
Pool is exclusively designed for measurement and
control purposes for the treatment of water in swimming pools and
baths.
The DEPOLOX
®
may only be used in buildings and under the operating
conditions described in the technical data.
The device is not designed for any application other than that described
in this manual
– this is contrary to its intended use!
Compliance with the intended use of this device also includes reading
this operating manual and observance of all instructions which it con-
tains, particularly the safety instructions. Furthermore all inspection and
maintenance work must be performed at the prescribed intervals.
If the device is not employed in accordance with its intended use, safe
and reliable operation cannot be guaranteed.
The operator is solely responsible for any personal injury or damage to
property resulting from employment of the device which is contrary to
its intended use! The operator is obliged to keep the device in proper
working order.
1.1.2 Cautionary Notes and Symbols
The following descriptions and symbols are used in this operating ma-
nual to indicate hazards, mandatory instructions and notes:
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a directly impending hazard which can be
fatal or result in very serious injury.
WARNING!
This symbol warns against parts carrying dangerous electrical
voltages.
Risk of fatal injury!
CAUTION!
This symbol indicates situations which can cause damage to the device
itself or surrounding equipment.
NOTE
This symbol indicates tips for the operator and other particularly useful
information.
