2.8 Taking the Device Out of Operation
CAUTION!
If the installation site of the flow block assembly is not frost-free, the
system must be taken out of operation in good time!
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Drain the sample water supply line and drainage line
3. Empty the cell body and remove the sand (refer to chapter 1.5, Re-
placing the cell sand).
4. Dismantle the filter housing and the check valve housing.
5. When the remaining water has drained from the flow control valve,
refit the filter housing and the check valve housing.
6. Remove the sensors from the cell body cover and disconnect from
the cable.
7. Apply a KCI solution to the protection caps of the Cl
2
, pH and Re-
dox electrodes and fit onto the electrodes.
8. Store the sensors in a frost-free place.
NOTE
Instead of the protection cap the "KCI tank" part no. W3T164482 can
be used.

9. TC1 sensor:
Remove the TC1 sensor from the cell body. Push the elastomer
seal to one side to permit the inflow of air, unscrew the membrane
cap. Wash the membrane cap and electrode finger with clean (dis-
tilled) water. Carefully dry the electrode finger with absorbent pa-
per. Leave the membrane cap to dry in a dust-free place. Then
screw the dry membrane cap loosely onto the electrode shaft.
Ensure that the membrane never touches the measuring electro-
de.
10. Store the conductivity sensor in a dry place.
