• Access control reader which allows the door to be opened by
swiping the proximity card or keyring. Only authorised cards
or keyrings activate the device. Physical contact is not necessary.
• Integrated within the Cityline aluminum panel.
• Flush mounted (ref.8948, including box) or surface installation
(ref.7061, optional).
• Recommended for interior and exterior use.
• Reader and controller integrated within the same module.
• Can operate as a stand-alone or centralised system.
Congurable between dipswitches (SW2).
Configuration with CENTRALISED MDS-CAC systems:
• Proximity reader with capacity for up to:
- 1.020 cards/keyrings with MDS central unit (ref.2405).
- 2.048 cards/keyrings with CAC central unit (ref.4410).
• Acoustic and visual confirmation using status LEDs which
advises if the card swiped has been accepted or rejected.
• Does not require physical reader-card contact. 5cm (card)
or 1.5cm (keyring) reading distance.
• Acoustic and visual status data.
• Lock-release button input, door sensor and lock-release
relay (C, NO, NC, potential free).
• Reader - Central Unit Wiring: 2 wires (power supply)
+ shielded twisted pair (data). On a system with various
readers these can be connected in cascade.
• Includes a dipswitch for conguration:
- Door Number: the access/door number (0..31).
- Lock-Release: Opening Time (secs.):
* On MDS via dipswitch.
* On CAC software conguration.
• CN3 Connector: Keypad Connector.
• The lock-releases can be connected directly to the
reader and for systems with maximum security, it is better
to use the relay decoder.
Programming is done using the PC software relevant to
the central unit installed (ref.2405 or ref.4410).
